Electric vehicle users rate Iberdrola España's public charging app as the best in the industry

• AUVE, the Association of Electric Vehicle Users, has recognised the company at its third electric vehicle trade fair, Moveo.

The Association of Electric Vehicle Users has recognised Iberdrola España's public charging app as the best in the industry. The award was collected by Iván Pagazaurtundua, head of Smart Mobility Technology at Iberdrola España during the Moveo electric vehicle fair held at the Oviedo Exhibition and Conference Centre. 

Iberdrola España's public charging app provides access to more than 12,000 charging points in Spain, 7,600 of which are operated by the company, and to 100,000 charging points in Europe. It has more than 250,000 registered users who have already charged more than one million times at Iberdrola España's network of charging points during 2024. 

With a score of 4.5 out of 5 on iOS and Android, the Iberdrola Recarga Pública app is already the best rated charging app in the energy industry. With the app both private and professional customers can easily manage their charges, make reservations, plan routes, sign on to savings plans, check all their information on current and completed charges and even manage their home charge point. 

Iberdrola España currently has the most extensive public and private charging network in Spain. Its public network is already at 7,600 operational points. At homes and companies, it has more than 40,000 private charging points. In total, there are now 50,000 points. 

As part of its commitment to sustainability and the environment, nearly a decade ago Iberdrola España launched its Sustainable Mobility plan through electrification. Its objective is to create a network of charging points covering the whole of Spain so electric vehicle users can travel around the country and charge their cars using only the company's network.
