Codes of conduct

IBERDROLA, S.A., parent company of the Iberdrola Group (holding 100% of the share capital of Iberdrola España), takes part in Autocontrol (Association for Self-regulation of Commercial Communication) and adheres to the Code of Conduct in Publicity and the Ethical Code for e-commerce and Interactive Publicity approved by that Association, which are available on its website www.autocontrol.es.

Iberdrola España and its employees are also bound by the internal rules of Corporate Governance and its Code of Ethics, which are available to the USER, together with information on compliance, on the website www.iberdrolaespana.es

Access to the www.iberdrolaespana.es website attributes the status of USER to whomsoever does so, and expresses the full and unreserved acceptance on the part of the USER of each one of these TERMS OF USE.

Jurisdiction and applicable legislation

 These Terms of Use shall be governed by the provisions of Spanish legislation.

In the event of any discrepancy or dispute as a result of the interpretation or application of these Terms of Use, in general, Iberdrola España and the USER expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, and submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of the USER's place of residence. If the USER resides outside of Spain, Iberdrola España and the USER expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, and submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid.

II. Privacy policy

("Iberdrola" or the "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy and guarantees compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data and, in particular, that your personal information will be processed: in a lawful, loyal and transparent manner; in accordance with specific explicit and legitimate purposes; only if it is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the processing; accurate and up to date; in such a way as to allow identification of the data subject only for the time necessary for the purposes of processing; guaranteeing their security.

However, certain processing of personal data may be subject to other privacy notices that will be provided to you at the specific time in which they are requested or processed. In the event of any updates to this privacy notice, we will notify you in writing in a timely manner. More information

We have implemented the necessary technical measures to protect your data and information from accidental loss, unauthorized access, use and disclosure. However, despite the diligent implementation of such measures, the user should be aware that security measures are not indefeasible. Iberdrola is not responsible for the actions of third parties who, in violation of these measures, access the aforementioned data and information.

Binding Corporate Rules (BCR)

Data transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Binding Corporate Rules ("BCR").

The Iberdrola Group's BCRs reflect European legislation on data protection (General Data Protection Regulation). The fact of having the BCRs implies that all the companies in our Group that sign them have to comply with the same internal rules.
