Iberdrola España pays tribute to long-standing and retired employees in the Valencian Community and Murcia

• The CEO of Iberdrola España, Mario Ruiz-Tagle, thanked them for their dedication to the company over the years, in which they have contributed to the company’s growth and expansion.
• A hundred professionals from both regions received a memento for their career at Iberdrola.

Iberdrola today held its traditional tribute to its ex-employees and those who have been with the company the longest in the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. On this occasion, the company brought together about a hundred employees who have been with the company for 25 and 40 years or who retired during the past year.

The meeting was attended by people from the different territories of the Valencian Region, as well as professionals from the Region of Murcia and Castilla-La Mancha, whom the CEO of Iberdrola España, Mario Ruiz-Tagle, thanked for their dedication and commitment to the company over this time, which has enabled them to play a leading role in the company's growth and success story.

The honorees were accompanied by Iberdrola executives, including the Director of People and Organisation at Iberdrola España, Álvaro Murga, the Director of Iberdrola Generación Nuclear, Tomás Lozano, i-DE Customer Services Manager, Mónica Miyar, i-DE's Area Manager in the East Region, Guillermo Raga, the Director of the Cofrentes NPP plant, Javier Sala, the head of People and Organization at Iberdrola Energía Sostenible, Julio Belinchón; and Iberdrola's representative in the region, Ibán Molina.

The professionals received a memento for their years of dedication to Iberdrola. Current employees who had been with the company for 25 years in 2023 were given a silver caravel, while employees who had been with the company for 40 years received a watch. Those who retired last year received a watch as well and were given a commemorative plate.

The company also held this tribute in Valladolid and Bilbao and will soon do so in Madrid as the group's recognition of the professionals who have contributed to Iberdrola's growth and expansion.
