Iberdrola España has revamped the visual style of its website with a more modern and functional design, designed to optimise its users’ digital experience. The new interface offers visitors quick and easy access to the most relevant information from any type of device, guaranteeing a more intuitive and seamless browsing experience.
This project is part of Iberdrola España's commitment to innovation and ongoing improvement, placing usability at the heart of its digital strategy.
A coherent and innovative design system
The corporate website’s redesign has been based on a solid design system that unifies components, styles and visual patterns to offer a seamless experience and a more modern look&feel.
Following an atomic approach, every visual element, from buttons to more complex structures, is built from reusable building blocks. This ensures consistency in the interface, streamlines development and makes design evolution easy to enable continuous improvement of user experience.
To implement its website’s visual update, Iberdrola España has leveraged on the capabilities of Liferay, its content management system (CMS), which improves efficiency publishing and updating website content.
The project has followed SEO (search engine optimisation) best practices to achieve greater visibility in search engines on strategic communication issues for Iberdrola España, as well as in terms of web accessibility, as established by the W3C (World Wide Web Conortium).
A remodelled Press Room to post the latest news on the energy market in Spain
Notable new features include the redesigned Press Room, which now has a dedicated search engine so users can filter news by different criteria such as year and region.
Another new feature of the project is the creation of a new optimised menu so users can reach more specific pages with fewer clicks, speeding up searches for information. Interactive maps have also been included on the solar energy pages, where users can explore key business content for each region in Spain.
With this initiative, Iberdrola España engages more deeply with its commitment to innovation and digital transformation, increasing the prominence of its website and consolidating it as a strategic space to increase the visibility of its leadership in renewable energies in Spain.
