This agreement also promotes the electrification of heat in the sector and urban regeneration within the framework of the Next Generation Funds.

It will enable joint actions to be carried out with the regional architects' associations of Alicante (CTAA), Castellón (CTAC) and Valencia (CTAV).
Iberdrola España signed a collaboration agreement with the Col.legi Oficial d'Arquitectes de la Comunitat Valenciana (COACV) to promote energy renovation of buildings, which will serve to promote renovation actions, including electrification of heat, insulation, photovoltaic installations and management of Next Generation aid.
The agreement was signed by the dean of COACV Luis Sendra and Iberdrola España's commercial delegate in Valencia Joaquín Longares. It will enable joint actions to be carried out with the regional architects' associations of Alicante (CTAA), Castellón (CTAC) and Valencia (CTAV).
This collaboration will provide professional advice to the region's registered architects, homeowners' associations and citizens interested in the aids, whether they are considering the comprehensive energy renovation of their buildings, urban regeneration interventions and/or actions that include the decarbonisation of the heating/sanitary hot water (DHW) system, through the installation of aerothermal equipment and high-efficiency heat pumps.
Joaquín Longares, Iberdrola España's sales representative in Valencia, highlighted the importance of cooperating "with an entity that represents the group of professionals in the sector who are key players in making buildings more sustainable, and joining forces to raise awareness and disseminate the importance of implementing initiatives that promote energy savings and sustainability".
The dean of COACV Luis Sendra said that this agreement "is a great step forward in promoting the training and professional and employment strategies of architects in our region, for the construction and renovation of more sustainable and healthier homes. This alliance between a leading company in the energy sector such as Iberdrola España and the COACV will result in greater professional and social benefit".
In addition, with the aim of promoting renovation, Iberdrola España will promote continuous training on energy renovation, efficiency and electrification of heat for architects who are members of the COACV.
A national agreement
To provide professional coverage for the entire duration of the wave of renovation of homes and buildings promoted by the Next Generation funds, Iberdrola España signed an agreement with the Spanish Higher Council of Architects' Associations (CSCAE), with the possibility of renewing the agreement for additional annual periods.
The technical projects that so require will have the support of the Renovation Support Offices, of which the Col.legi d'Arquitectes de la C. Valenciana is a member. The OAR Network is an initiative of the CSCAE, with the Colegios de Arquitectos, created in December 2020, to facilitate the management of energy efficiency aid within the framework of the Next Generation EU funds.
With implementation throughout the country, the Renovation Support Offices function as points of reference for Public Administrations, registered architects, homeowners' associations and citizens in general, to provide information, advice and connection with specialised professionals.
The aim is to ensure that the management and execution of the renovation actions carried out with these funds have the necessary rigour to guarantee the achievement of the aid, its optimisation and, most importantly, the lasting well-being of the users.
