Iberdrola España launches Smart Solar Pack Premium, its new product to get more out of solar self-consumption installations

Iberdrola España, in its aim to continue to lead the energy transition and bring it closer to its customers, has launched Smart Solar Pack Premium,, a new self-consumption product that combines innovation, exclusivity and sustainability to increase the annual production of its users' installations by reducing the space occupied on the roofs. 

To launch Smart Solar Pack Premium Iberdrola España has relied on two of the most technologically groundbreaking companies in the industry: Enphase, a leader in the development of microinverters and AC coupled batteries; and AIKO, an innovative solar module manufacturer using cutting-edge technology.

In essence, with the incorporation of Enphase microinverters, this new solution offers maximum efficiency in the generation of 100% renewable electricity regardless of shading, orientation and inclination, as each photovoltaic panel operates as a completely independent system. In addition, the burst mode technology means that the installation starts operating earlier at dawn and switches off later at dusk, even on cloudy days. 

Likewise, the incorporation of this system means a 25-year guarantee, the highest reliability on the market and the added peace of mind that the equipment is connected to AC power, just like any other household appliance in your home. 

Thanks to AIKO modules, customers who contract their solar installation with Iberdrola España will be able to count on a higher photovoltaic generation capacity, 6 to 9% greater than modules with other technologies, better performance, even at high temperatures and better optimisation of partial shading. All of this with a product guarantee of 25 years and 30 years in terms of generation capacity. 

This premium solution for photovoltaic self-consumptionfrom Iberdrola España means that a single-family home with an installation of 8 panels and a consumption of around 6,500 kilowatt hours per year (kWh/year) will have almost 6% more generation in the first year, reducing the space occupied on the roof from 18m2 to 15m2.
