Iberdrola España launches Smart Solar Pack Premium, its new product to get more out of solar self-consumption installations

Iberdrola España, in its aim to continue leading the energy transition and bring it closer to its customers, has launched Smart Solar Pack Premium, a new self-consumption product that combines innovation, exclusivity and sustainability to increase the annual production of its users' installations by reducing the surface area of the roofs. 

For the launch of Smart Solar Pack Premium Iberdrola España has relied on two of the most technologically groundbreaking companies in the sector, such as Enphase, leader in the development of microinverters and AC coupled batteries, and AIKO, focused on the manufacture of solar modules seeking innovation and cutting-edge technology.

In essence, with the incorporation of Enphase's microinverters, this new solution offers maximum efficiency in generating 100% renewable electricity regardless of shading, orientation and tilt, with each PV panel operating as a completely independent system. In addition, the burst mode technology allows the installation to start operating earlier at dawn and disconnect later at dusk, even on cloudy days. 

Likewise, the incorporation of this system implies a 25-year guarantee, the highest reliability in the market and the added peace of mind that the equipment is connected in alternating current, just like any other household appliance in our home. 

On the other hand, thanks to AIKO modules, customers who contract their solar installation with Iberdrola España will be able to count on a higher photovoltaic generation power, between 6 and 9% higher than modules of other technologies; a better performance, even at high temperatures and a better optimization of partial shading. All this with a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year warranty on generation capacity. 

In short, this premium photovoltaic self-consumption solution from Iberdrola España means, for a single-family home with an installation of 8 panels and a consumption of around 6,500 kilowatt hours per year (kWh/year), almost 6% more generation in the first year, reducing the roof area from 18 m2 to 15m2. The energy company also includes a financing plan of up to 12 months interest-free and for a maximum of 12 years, with a competitive interest rate compared to the current market offer.

Iberdrola España, with more than 200,000 customers connected to the grid, in order to maximize savings for its customers, offers solutions compatible with its energy plans, such as Solar Cloud, where the customer can store the excess energy that is not self-consumed and thus obtain additional savings on their electricity bill.
