New customer service office at Praza dos Ranchos, 3, Lugo

Iberdrola España has opened its 3rd customer service office in the city of Lugo on Praza dos Ranchos, 3. The company's aim is to be closer to its customers daily to improve the services it provides as well as to provide a place for personalised advice for both companies and individuals. The new office offers information on new energy services and joins the 39 already open in the community of Galicia.

This office provides advice on charging points for electric vehicles and their installation at home, air conditioning and energy rehabilitation, solar communities, services such as the Smart Assistant, which allows you to control your use and save, and the new aerothermal heating systems. Electricity, gas and all the company's other energy products and services will be offered for purchase as well.

The head of the office, Mariano Vázquez Corcoba, said that ‘our aim is to give advice and bring all of Iberdrola España’s energy services and products to our customers, and to be able to adapt to the needs of each resident and each company at any time’. Likewise, Vázquez Corcoba said that the company is committed to formulas that ‘meet our customers where they are, bringing energy designed to promote efficiency, energy savings and care for the environment to them’

Iberdrola España’s new facilities in Lugo offer an in-person service to take care of business like changing accounts or account holders, renewing or getting information on discounts, changing tariffs or power, etc.

More than 40 customer service offices in Galicia

Iberdrola España in Galicia now has 40 offices with the recently opened one in Lugo. Their main objective is to meet customers and to be able to attend to their needs at any time, offering a personalised and quality service.

One of the most innovative plans that the company has in place throughout the country are their solar communities, installations that allow people to enjoy all the benefits of solar energy without the need for photovoltaic panels on their own roofs or rooftops. This is a new business model on the rise that not only helps customers to save on their bills but also contributes to the planet’s decarbonisation.

In the province of Lugo, in Sarria, one was commissioned just a year ago, at the Alma del Camino hostel. A total of 134 residents benefit from this power supply, which has 194 panels that will save 598 tonnes of CO2 in three decades. The panels generate 89.2 kWp of power, which is divided between 22 for the owner of the premises and 67kWp for the neighbours.

The only requirement to receive this new green energy from the solar community and save up to 30% on your electricity bill is to be located within 2 kilometres of the installation and to be an Iberdrola España customer. Residents of Lugo can ask at the office to find out how to join the communities.
